Local singers needed for Mozart Mass
NOTICE OF AUDITION
The PGSO will be holding auditions for local soloists for a performance next year of Mozart’s Coronation Mass – Mass No.15 in C Major, K.317
Local auditions are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 30 at 5pm. Location TBD
The performance is currently scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Vanier Hall.
We are looking for all four solo voices, SATB. Any parts not filled locally will be hired from out of town.
Soloists will be paid following union standards.
Candidates must RSVP with their voice type to ken@pgso.com no later than April 23.
Audition Repertoire:
From the Coronation Mass K.317, Mozart
Soprano:
From the Agnus Dei: andante sostenuto (complete section)
Alto, Tenor, and Bass:
From the Benedictus: allegretto (complete section)
A pianist will be supplied.
