Internal Staff Review
The Prince George Symphony Orchestra became aware on December 22 of a report published by the Canadian Anti-Hate Network referencing the attendance of a staff member at the July 2025 event Exiles of the Golden Age. The organization had no prior knowledge of the report or of the staff member’s attendance at the event and was alerted later on December 22 by a patron.
The organization is currently undertaking an internal review to assess the matter in light of its values, leadership responsibilities, and commitment to maintaining public trust. During this time, the staff member has been placed on paid administrative leave.
As this is a personnel matter, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra will not be providing further comment at this time. We ask for the public’s patience as this process continues, and reaffirm our commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect, as well as to fair and equitable treatment for all.
Update
The Prince George Symphony Orchestra has concluded its internal review. The Operations Manager is no longer with the organization, effective February 10, 2026.
